A. APPLICANT must be African - American and a United States citizen.
B. APPLICANT must be a high school senior at the time the application is submitted.
C. APPLICANT must have a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better based on a 4.0/5.0 maximum scale at the time of the application.
D. APPLICANT must be accepted by accredited college/university and enrolled as a full-time student.
E. APPLICANT must major in one of the required Business related majors. (Advertising, Marketing, Business, Finance, Accounting , Engineering/Electrical/Industrial, Math and Computer Science/Information Technology)
F. APPLICANT must provide proof of enrollment from the college/university in which he/she are enrolled before actual allocation of the awarded funds.
G. The application must be postmarked by Friday, March 21, 2008.
TO RECEIVE A SCHOLARSHIP AWARD, RECIPIENT MUST ATTEND THE ENTIRE 2008 CITE CONFERENCE. Recipient may need to arrive June 5th – one day before the conference. (NOTE: The 2008 CITE conference will be held June 5 – June 8, 2008 at the Hilton Washington, 1919 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20009.
CITE will cover most expenses for the scholarship recipient to include travel, lodging and conference registration fees. Additional information regarding hotel and transportation will be provided at a later date.
